An arrival guide that does the quiet work
Help guests move from booking confirmation to the front door with fewer unanswered questions.
Follow the journey
Structure the guide in the order a guest encounters it: before departure, approaching the property, parking, finding the entrance and getting inside. Keep the address easy to copy. Distinguish the public street entrance from any internal driveway or gate, and describe landmarks only when they are stable and unambiguous.
Separate public facts from private access
A public listing can explain transport options and general arrival arrangements. Door codes and security instructions belong in the direct guest communication used by the host. Do not publish them in an indexed article, photograph or downloadable public guide. Check photos for visible access codes before uploading them.
Describe, rather than assume
Instead of calling access easy, describe the actual route. Note surfaces, steps, distances and door arrangements that you have checked. A guest can then decide what works for them and ask follow-up questions. Avoid promising universal accessibility based on a photograph or a general impression.
Make exceptions easy to find
Late arrivals, a missed turning or a locked gate should each have a clear next step. Include a monitored contact method and realistic hours of availability. Give one authoritative set of instructions rather than several slightly different versions in old PDFs, booking messages and website pages.
Test it with fresh eyes
Ask someone who did not write the instructions to follow them without coaching. Record the point where they hesitate. Rework that sentence or photograph, then record the date of the check and assign an owner for future changes. Review the guide whenever access, parking or the check-in process changes.
